Electric Daisy Carnival es uno de los festivales mas exitoso en lo que a música electronica se refiere, con una trayectoria de 17 años y donde se creo lo que se conoce como EDM. (titulo que los Ravers americanos le pusieron a la música electronica) 

Año con año a evolucionado y a llegado a estados y países como New York City, New York, U.S. Chicago, Illinois, U.S. Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. Dallas, Texas, U.S. Orlando, Florida, U.S. San Juan, Puerto Rico London, U.K.. 

Este festival es creado por la productora Insomniac que ademas es tambien la encargada de realizar muchos festivales ademas del EDC como es el caso del nocturnal Festival, Beyond Wonderland entre otros, en donde a tenido artistas de la talla de Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, David Guetta, Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Pretty Lights, Kaskade, Porter Robinson, Manufactured Superstars, Wolfgang Gartner, Steve Angello, The Crystal Method, Cosmic Gate, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Crizzly, Borgore, Skream, Benga, Excision, Dieselboy, Zedd, Feed Me, Skrillex, Laidback Luke, Sidney Samson, Alesso, The Glitch Mob, Bassnectar, Chuckie, Dada Life, Boys Noize, Felix Cartal, Green Velvet, MSTRKRFT, Hardwell, Jack Beats, High Contrast, 12th Planet, Zeds Dead, Terravita, Paul Oakenfold, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Nicky Romero, Bunny, Infected Mushroom, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Rusko, Showtek, Felguk, Datsik, Doctor P, Bingo Players, Benny Benassi,
